| It is time for Joe to be in the Hall. Any ideas of what we can do to promote this and make sure it happens this year? |

Hello, We have tried to come up with some ideas before such as an online petion, but nothing became of it. First of all, is That The People That Nominate someone into the Hall of Fame Need to get rid of Their Dark Glasses, their white canes and ALSO BUY THEIRSELVES A HEARING AID!!!!!!! Then, Joe Will Be Nominated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They Put People in the Hall of Fame That Should not even be there and overlook Joe.... These People should Be Ashamed of there Self!!!!!! We Do Need to get Joe in there, but How?? |

| We can't give up. I think a lot of people just assume he is already in the Hall of Fame. His performance at Woodstock alone should have been enough. It is as if they want to penalize him for having a 30 year career after Woodstock. If we all email the Hall of Fame and at least one past member of the Hall of Fame, we may be able to get him in this year. We got to at least try! |

| I tried many times in the past[Jan will attest to that], to get something rolling with this HOF thing. It is nearly impossible. It is what it is, and I beleive Joe will get in one day, I only hope it is when he is still with us, as opposed to 25 years from now, when someone says "Hey!, this guy really was great", let's honor him, and give his award to his grand children. | We can't give up on Joe. Not after he has not given up on us over 30 years. We can all write the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation at 1290 Avenue of the Americas-New York, NY 10104 and remind them about Joe. We can also write and email past members as they are voters. At least we can say we are trying. Any other ideas out there? |

I wrote to the Rock and Roll hall of fame last year. I told them that it is was ridiculous that crap like the six pistols is in the hall, but not Joe Cocker. She said that I had to write the board members that elect nominees, but she never told me who to write. Maybe if we flood their website with Joe Cocker petions they will get the message. BY the way the Moody Blues who are also deserving are not in the hall either. Peace Guy |

Packguy, yes, many of us have emailed and written the the HofF, but to no avail!!!! Many of us have, however, many have not. I am sure that not everyone on this forum has. I realize some people think these things are a waste of time because no action is immediately taken, but that is how tnings get changed, one at a time, one person at a time. So please, people out there flood the H of F with emails about our Joe who is SO deserving of this honor. Actions DO speak louder than words, so please take action fans and get our Joe this honor Thank you packguy for trying---again!, Corinne

| I cant believe he isnt in the rock and roll hall of fame. That makes me mad. A couple of years ago a rock and roll magazine listed the top 50 voices of all time and he wasnt added to that either. Its crazy. I saw Joe last winter in Owensboro, Ky. and his show was the best Ive seen in many years. I would like to email the rock and roll hall of fame or is it better to write a normal letter. I would appreciate anyones input on this, also if someone would put in the email address if this is an effective way to let your voice be heard on this subject. I know Traffic has recently been put in the hall and I guess deservedly so but I cant believe they have had the musical impact that Joe has. Dave |

Hoi Guys, hmm...well I was very much suprised when I first read the message of "biggest Cocker Fan". Especialy as I always thought that a great singer was automaticly entering in to the Hall of fame after successful 25 years in Business. Well I did send an e-mail but never recieved any answer back (so I'am not even sure they've got my message). Did any of you who did send an e-mail, dit get any answer back ? Well I was wondering if a Letter may be better. The only address I've got is : Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, One Key Plaza,Cleveland, Ohio 44114 Does anyone know, if this is the correct address? Well Guys, I think we should all follow the idea of Davesue and keep on writing letters and e-mails. Have a great day Lizzie

| Hello, I emailed the hof yesterday. Sometimes there is a critical snobbery of things that the average person can see, hear, and feel so easily. His music just reaches out and grabs you. Anybody reading this ever done a Joe Cocker impression (lip syncing)(I even had the back up singers)(high school kids you know)lol. I know that his music means more to many people than some of those already there, and Im not knocking the ones who are already there in any way. Dave |
