It’s getting steamy as Joe Cocker and his high calibre band are preparing for a two month tour of Europe, hot on the heals of the release of “I Come In Peace”, the second single from Mr Cockers acclaimed new album “Fire It Up”.
Ticket sales are going steadily strong for the 33-date “Fire It Up”-tour that will rock huge crowds in major-city arenas. Starting on April 8, 2013 in Antwerp, Belgium, the tour will visit Germany extensively before moving in to the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine before closing with three concerts in Russia. Cocker promises to performing many of his greatest hits on the road in 2013, as well as a huge chunk of the ardent work that is “Fire It Up”.
No worries, spring and summer will be fired up by Joe Cocker.

50 years after his first record contract, acclaimed singer and performer Joe Cocker is still firing on all cylinders. At the age of 68 the Grammy Award- winner is at the height of his powers on ”Fire It Up”, his latest album, released in November 2012. “Fire It Up”, is a 11-track musical thrill ride through hauntingly performed Blues Rock- and Soul-Songs, passionately delivered by Cockers globally recognised trademark-voice.
The album is a triumphant return to the top, where “Hard Knocks”, Cockers Platinum Award-winning predecessor left off in 2010. He's back again with a great new album. Joe Cocker's believe it or not 23rd studio album will be released in November, and will be a more than worthy follow-up to his No.1 album "Hard Knocks".
"Fire It Up" was produced by Matt Serletic, who among others has worked with Matchbox Twenty, Santana, Rob Thomas and Collective Soul. The first single will be “Fire It Up”, which will hit radio stations shortly and can be listened to at www.cocker.com.

"Thank you Dubai, it's been a long time coming"
Joe’s first performance of the new tour went brilliantly and the media loved it: “Joe Cocker thrilled thousands of fans at his debut appearance in the UAE last night with a host of classic hits ... The singer, who celebrated his 67th birthday only two days before, turned out a stunning performance mixing both new music with the 1960s hits which earned him his place in the rock and roll hall of fame. "I've always been curious to play Dubai, I've had friends who've been out there and they were always surprised that I hadn't done it. I always love it when we travel to new territories." For the singer, who grew up in the English town of Sheffield, the evening was the culmination of a decade-long ambition to perform in Dubai”.
As Joe and the band wave goodbye to Dubai Festival City they say hello to Morocco and the Mawazine Festival, Rabat. Amongst others, Joe will be performing at the festival along with Shakira, Kanye West, Quincy Jones, and Lionel Richie during the annual eight day festival. Joe performs on Thursday 26th May, see you there?

Joe and his band are currently packing up their passports, instruments, and cases, in anticipation of another tour storming across Europe this summer.
Dubai hosts the pleasure for Joe’s first date this Sunday on 22nd May, and then Joe heads to Morocco, and on to some of the most beautiful locations in Europe.
With an ever impressive set list, Joe will performing his classic hits, and tracks fresh from his latest platinum selling album Hard Knocks, which debuted at number one in Germany.
More than 100,000 enthusiastic German fans saw Joe live on his ‘Hard Knocks’ Tour in 2010, and his new summer tour this year is going to be just as legendary.
We look forward to seeing him perform across Europe with some amazing dates, with a variety of outdoor festivals, and indoor arenas. There’s some very special locations, and unique venues. It’s going to be a fabulous summer.
After this inspirational tour finishes in August, we are delighted that Joe will return to the studio in the autumn to record new material for his next album.
